my newlywed friends, matt and crystalyn are here to visit and of course we had to go to the awesome asian dessert house matt and i used to frequent before he moved away. when the nice waitress came to take our order, matt didn't hold back. seriously, he couldn't stop.

service for 6 just wasn't enough. it was definitely one of those times that i wished i didn't keep my good "wedding china" (can i still call it that even though i'm divorced?) in storage. but really, how often is it that i need the set of service for 12 (other than the holidays-when i could actually use service for 36, no joke)? regardless, it worked out. we still managed to eat cheese tortellini in a tomato and mushroom sauce, a fresh spinach, tomato, onion and bleu cheese salad, sides of broccoli and carrots and of course home made cookies for dessert. and even without the china, there were plenty of dishes to be done. here's a shot of round two:
