...at the academy of science! since i bought a family membership when i took the kids, i was able to take my cousin molly and 3 year old nephew johnny waldo for free when they came to sf this weekend.
dave and i took the kids to the academy of science and we LOVED it!
there's something about going to my son's soccer game with my daughter wearing her volleyball uniform and then going to my daughter's volleyball game with my son wearing his soccer uniform that makes me feel like i need to relive my childhood and go eat a saturday afternoon center turkey with everything on it from sub center. i dunno if there is a sandwich out there that makes me this happy (and the kids LOVE them too)!
SH beat riordan tonight (boo-yah)!
post game beer with mrs. nevarez.
you have completely changed me and i will always love you for that!
GOOD LUCK ON YOUR JOURNEY!
like most days, i hopped on the N judah this morning. there was a 70ish year old woman sitting in the first seat. i stood in front of her, holding onto the hand rail. other than her kramer like hair-do. she seemed pretty normal. until this happened..
she started screaming "NOOOO!". i looked around, trying to see what she was yelling about. then i realized - it was me! she pushed her huge old lady glasses down and started glaring at my shoes. then she dug into her mary poppins carpet bag, similar to this one (however, i am sure she paid much less) and took out some sort of scripture like book. there was dirty masking tape on it, taped in place to represent a religious symbol. she was waving it at me, calling me the devil. then she kicked me. that's right, she kicked my shins and began stomping on my feet! i was in such shock i couldn't even tell her to stop. i looked down at myself, thinking i must had forgotten to put pants on before leaving the house. thankfully, that was not the case. clearly, she was insane. she must have hated my shoes...
and honestly, i don't think i really look like a devil. do i?
